Identify excess wear. If you believe you have excess wear on your Cadillac, you can schedule a complimentary pre-return inspection. (A pre-return inspection is optional, but it’s a beneficial step to get ahead of possible repairs/expenses prior to returning your Cadillac). You can schedule a Pre-Return Inspection 2 - 4 months before your lease end. To schedule an inspection, please contact us.

Understand the potential disposition fee. Cadillac Financial lessees may be charged a disposition fee after returning their Cadillac, which covers the cost of preparing a vehicle for resale. (As a way to say thank you, the disposition fee may be waived for customers who lease another Cadillac or GM vehicle1).
Preparing for Your Lease Return
Return the vehicle by the termination date specified in your lease agreement. Follow these tips when returning your vehicle to Cadillac of Bellevue.

Clean your vehicle inside and out. Don't forget your personal items such as Sunglasses, Toll Passes/ Parking Permits, Phone Charger Cords, etc.

Returning Your Lease & What Happens Next

You’ll sign and receive a Vehicle Check-In Receipt and Odometer Statement to confirm you’ve returned your vehicle. Confirm the final odometer mileage and any other information is accurate.

Check your mail for a Lease-End Liability Invoice in the mail 30-45 days after your vehicle is returned. It may include amounts still due on the account, excess wear and mileage charges, a disposition fee,1 and other applicable taxes and charges.2 If taxes, citations, tolls or other charges are received after your Lease-End Liability Invoice has been sent, an additional invoice may be issued. For more details, see “Other Terms and Conditions” in your lease agreement.

Upon confirmation of all contractual payments and fees are paid to the lender, discontinue any automatic payments.

Cadillac Financial lessees may be charged a disposition fee after returning their Cadillac, which covers the cost of preparing a vehicle for resale. If you buy or lease a new GM vehicle, your disposition fee of up to $595 may be waived. See your lease agreement for details.
